Planning Notes
Hot summers — far more comfortable March–May and September–November. Reserve hookup sites in advance for weekends. From Austin: ~6.5 hrs via I-35 N → US-287 N (Lubbock) → US-84 W to Tucumcari → NM-540 N to Logan.
