Highlights

▶ Only place in Texas for Uvalde bigtooth maple fall foliage — gold and red in late October

Planning Notes

Developed (W/E) sites accommodate 21-ft trailers; primitive hike-in sites are tent-only. Fall color weekends (late Oct–early Nov) are the most competitive state park reservations in Texas — book as early as possible. No cell service in the canyon.
