Entry Requirements
Required: (1) Mexican auto insurance — purchase before crossing (GEICO, Progressive, and many others offer Mexican policies online); (2) FMM tourist card (~$30 USD at border); (3) Temporary Vehicle Import Permit (TIP) if driving more than 26km past the border zone — obtain at the Banjercito office at the crossing. Passport required.

Planning Notes
Primitive camping areas near the pozas; some designated sites with basic facilities. Fully self-contained trailer required — no hookups. Entry via Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras crossing (~160 mi from Austin). Nearest town is Cuatro Ciénegas de Carranza (full services, grocery, fuel). Road from Monclova to the park is paved; some pozas require short hike or ATV.
